Course Description

Pattern making is the backbone of professional tailoring, and this course teaches students to create accurate patterns without relying on pre-made templates. Topics include body measurement charting, dart manipulation, grading across sizes, and scaling patterns up or down. Students will also master fabric grain lines, layout planning to minimize wastage, and precise cutting with shears and rotary cutters.
